Melanie Thewlis is a frontend developer in the City Data Experience (CDX) team at City of Melbourne, Australia. CDX projects blend data storytelling, games, and interactive IoT to communicate complex ideas about local government to diverse audiences. Melanie is committed to building a collaborative, creative, and innovative work culture through new technology deep dives, mentoring, and skill sharing. She is a practising artist who has exhibited playful and interactive tech-based works in Europe, Australia, and the United States.
