Miriam Capper

Miriam Capper is an Experience Developer at Museums Victoria, Australia’s largest museum network. Her role has seen her lead experience development on major exhibitions including the award-winning Tyama, and their latest landmark gallery, Our Wondrous Planet.

With a background in social psychology and narrative-led design, Miriam creates immersive experiences that explore the nature of humanity – from stadium-scale theatre to interactive digital worlds for organisations including Underground Cinema and the Mushroom Group.

A published science writer and recipient of the APA’s Psychologists for Peace Award, Miriam’s work strives to create empathic connections. From exhibitions and educational programs to live science events, Miriam designs experiences that get people thinking, and ideally, thinking together.
