Building a Green Museum
All museums and cultural organisations, no matter how small they are and wherever they are located, should join the fight against climate change through various ways starting with raising public awareness among local communities. They should understand that climate action is an urgent social issue as well and that they have to incorporate it in their mission and establish a strategy towards creating a resilient and sustainable organisation. We invite you to discover the story of the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest which undertook the ambitious project of turning its building green.
