Paul Kalyta

Paul Kalyta’s passion for numbers, nature, and history took him from decidedly unremarkable beginnings as a financial analyst to becoming an environmental accountant—long before such job titles existed—and ultimately a corporate sustainability professional. Two decades of cross-sector assignments, from healthcare to academia, led him to the museum world, where he finally united his three passions.

As Senior Advisor at the Canadian Museum of History, Paul leads the Museum’s work on internal audit, risk management, and environmental reporting. He holds a PhD from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University and is deeply committed to weaving sustainability into the narratives of cultural institutions.
