Particle: stories for the science-curious
Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
Particle launched in 2017 as a science media brand to create engaging, digital science content delivered to ‘science-curious’ adults wherever they are.
Uniquely, Particle is produced by a science centre, Scitech (Perth, Australia).
While science centres around the world are known for their interactive and engaging spaces developing critical thinking skills through hands-on experiences, particularly with 4 -12 year olds, they are less active and less visible in the digital landscape.
Particle is part of an intentional strategy to position Scitech for the future by developing a robust digital capability that allows us to be innovative, agile and responsive in engaging audiences beyond the science centre.
Come and find out how we’re telling stories on digital and social platforms to engage ‘science-curious’ adults, and by doing so, redefining how a science centre can (and should) engage with its audiences.
