Public Functionary

Public Functionary (PF) is an artist-led cultural hub established in 2012 in Minneapolis, rooted in the belief that possibility lives in relationship.

Over the past decade, PF has grown organically from a DIY art space into a multifaceted hub spanning over 20,000 square feet within the historic Northrup King artist studio complex in Northeast Minneapolis — where In 2019, PF launched PF STUDIOS to support early career artists in growing their practice and community.

Today, PF presents curated exhibitions and events produced by its artist-led team alongside collaborations with a broader creative community. PF’s leadership team includes Tricia Heuring (Artistic Director), Mike Bishop (Lead Producer), and Mica Grimm (Director of Culture and Experience).
