Rab MacGibbon

Rab MacGibbon joined the National Portrait Gallery in 2005 after earning a BA and MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art. As Cross-Collections Curator, he oversees projects spanning all periods and media, including touring exhibitions, public programs, and external partnerships.

Rab has played a key role in the NPG x FRAMELESS partnership, serving as the primary liaison between the Gallery’s curatorial team and the FRAMELESS creative team. Before joining the National Portrait Gallery, he worked at the National Gallery and the British Council.
