Sara Oslislo

Sara Oslislo has been a Digital Communications Consultant at Futurium, the House of the Future, since 2023. Prior to that, she worked as a curator and digital project manager at various museums such as the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg and the Museum for Communication Berlin. At Futurium, she is part of the communications team led by Monique Luckas and is responsible for digital communications, including the website and the management of a variety of digital projects, including the Digital Futurium. Sara studied art history and history in Dresden, Milan, Vienna and Berlin. Loving games since childhood, cultural education via digital formats and gamification is one of her main interests in her profession.

The Creepy Guide — From a team that set out to prompt fear

The lecture gives an insight into how AI is used at Futurium – thematically in the exhibition, with exhibits in the lab and also in everyday communication. Using the example of the Creepy Guide, an AI adaptation of the classic audio guide, we will show how creative ideas and a small budget can be used to create exciting experiences for visitors. The Creepy Guide is a best practice example of how public and cultural institutions can use AI to create projects that surprise and inspire.
