Sarah Louise Nunn

Head of Education and Public Programming
Louvre Abu Dhabi

Sarah is a Creative Producer, Educator, and Programme Curator with over 20 years of experience in the UK and internationally. She believes in the driving force of the creative arts to facilitate social change, enhance well-being, and empower the next generation to thrive in the creative economy. Her work focuses on forging creative partnerships to co-develop large-scale participatory programmes and establish effective ecosystems that provide a framework and platform for audience engagement, community building and active learning at museums and cultural venues.

Since the opening of the Louvre Abu Dhabi in 2017, Sarah has played an integral role in building the capacity of emerging museum professionals in the education department to deliver dynamic, interactive public programmes inspired by the museum collection, exhibitions, and architecture for all audience groups. Partnerships with the community and artists, both international and UAE-based, have been key in forging a new direction in how the education team interpret the collection and connect with audiences.

Before joining the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Sarah was an independent Creative Producer and Learning Consultant working across Museums, Theatre, and Education in London and internationally. Previously worked with Art Jameel, Ministry of Education Sultanate of Oman, Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation, Abu Dhabi Festival, Nomad Creative Consultancy, Crying in the Wilderness Productions, Institute of Education London, Museum of Moving Image, and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
