Selina Heidschwager

Selina Heidschwager is a museum professional at the Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin.

With extensive experience in participatory exhibition design, climate communication, and museum pedagogy, Selina specialises in transforming how institutions engage visitors with complex environmental and technological narratives.

Currently, Selina is co-conceiving and implementing the intervention project “Welcome to the Museum of the Fossil Age” (opening February 2026), developed as part of the EU Horizon project PITCH. This innovative initiative uses artistic and design-based strategies to reveal fossil foundations embedded in technological heritage, challenging visitors to question linear narratives of progress and imagine post-fossil futures.

Selina’s work bridges research, curation, and public engagement. Recent projects include developing participatory exhibition concepts, designing targeted educational programs.
