Todd Keeley

Todd graduated in 1987 as a Mechanical Technologist from Algonquin College in Ottawa. He began his career as a designer at a local HVAC engineering firm and, in 1999, joined the Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation—now the Canadian Museum of History and the Canadian War Museum—as Head of Mechanical and Electrical Technology for capital projects.

Over more than 25 years, Todd has contributed to over 600 projects across both museums, including the construction of the Canadian War Museum, where several innovative sustainability initiatives were implemented, such as the use of the Ottawa River water for chiller condenser cooling, irrigation, and greywater supply for washrooms. More recently, Todd has led the replacement of traditional centrifugal water-cooled chillers with high-efficiency magnetic bearing units across both museums. He takes great pride in delivering engineering solutions that maximize efficiency and advance the sustainability of mechanical and electrical systems.
