Valencia Tong is an award-winning writer and consultant who specializes in contemporary art with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region and emerging markets. She is interested in a wide range of media, including drawings, paintings, illustrations, street art, video and media art, design and architecture.
Currently, she explores the intersection between art and technology, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, AI and blockchain, as well as the influence of music on art.
She received her MA in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York, and she is pursuing a master’s degree in Museum Anthropology at Columbia University, offered by the university’s Department of Anthropology and the American Museum of Natural History.
