Zoe Tee

Zoe Tee is a senior social worker and deputy head of department at Fei Yue Community Services leading the Integrated Service Provider team, Hidden Youth Outreach Service team and YouthGO! Outreach team. From youths who have entered the statutory system to youth offenders and socially isolated youths in the community, Zoe is a social work leader who is passionate about the marginalised youth in Singapore.

Zoe has also completed her master’s in social work in National University Singapore (NUS) under the Ee Peng Liang scholarship, where she has also completed her Masters’ capstone research on Hidden Youth. She is also an adult educator at Social Service Institute and adjunct lecturer in the NUS

Start Engaging NEET Youths Through Innovative Partnerships

What if museums weren’t just for masterpieces but for messy feelings? What if art festivals gave the spotlight not only to the notable, but to the neglected? National Gallery Singapore’s Strength Through Art (stART) programme reaches out to vulnerable youths in partnership with social service agency, Fei Yue Community Services. This initiative draws out youths who are in isolation or not actively engaged in society to transform their feelings and thoughts into creative works of art. Their works, when showcased during the Gallery’s signature festival, Light To Night, became a tool for advocacy to reshape society’s views on youth who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET).
