Christiane Pracht is the Membership Manager at Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira.
From 2015 to 2019, and prior to joining Auckland Museum, Christiane worked as Membership Manager at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki where she developed, implemented, and ran the Gallery’s new membership program.
Under her leadership Gallery membership grew from 800 to over 7,000 members turning it into the largest membership program of any single art institution in New Zealand. In 2019 Christiane joined Auckland Museum to develop, implement and manage the Museum’s new membership program.
The program was launched with some delay due to Covid-19 in November 2020.
Today, two years after its launch, it is the second largest membership program in New Zealand. Christiane is an art historian with a passion for the arts and believes in connecting people with art.
