Gretchen Halverson is the manager of digital engagement and access at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) where she has been since 2016. She spearheads the museum’s innovative efforts to bring the museum’s collection and programs to a wider audience online– from content creation to broader audience strategy efforts, she is passionate about fostering meaningful connections with art, culture, and community. Prior to joining Mia, Gretchen worked at Target Corporation in communications and marketing before attending graduate school at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she earned her masters degree in the history of art and architecture.
