Fresh ideas from museums around the globe in your inbox each week
Hanna Nielsén is a business developer and innovation leader driven by a curiosity about people, stories, and how we connect through culture. At VRAK – Museum of Wrecks in Stockholm, she works to make museum experiences more accessible, meaningful, and relevant—especially for those who may not feel that museums are for them.
With a background in business development, strategy, and communications Hanna brings together different perspectives and methods in her work. She is particularly passionate about co-creation and service design and believes that the most powerful cultural experiences are created together with the people they are meant for.
Hanna Nielsén will be speaking at the Museums & Public Programs Summit 2026 :
If diverse audiences aren’t coming, the issue isn’t them—it’s us. This session shows what happens when a museum stops designing for audiences and starts co-creating with them.
