Keshia Vleminx

Keshia Vleminx is the Manager of Hospitality, Ticketing & Bookings at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA). She leads the Hospitality Team, the front-of-house hosts and security staff, the first point of contact for visitors. She ensures a warm welcome and a personal, visitor-focused approach. Keshia also oversees the museum’s bookings office, responsible for all telephone and digital communication with visitors, also scheduling of group visits and guided tours. Hospitality is at the heart of every interaction, both onsite and behind the scenes. Through continuous improvements, her team strives to deliver an exceptional museum experience for every visitor.

With a strong belief that hospitality plays a central role in how people connect with art, Keshia works to embed care into every step of the visitor journey. Her approach bridges thoughtful coordination with a human touch, helping to shape a museum culture where every visitor feels inspired, long before and after they enter the galleries.

At KMSKA, we investigated new ways to connect with audiences beyond the traditional museum visitor. In this presentation, we highlight two projects: Museum Mysteries and the Studio Rubens project. Both initiatives explore how storytelling, interaction and co-creation can engage younger generations and non-traditional visitors. Our aim is to make the museum experience more accessible, relevant and inspiring for everyone.
