Lizzy Bullock is Lead Content Designer at the National Archives. Lizzy has worked in digital for the museums and heritage sector for over a decade, working at the V&A and English Heritage before taking up her current role at the National Archives. She is particularly interested in how digital storytelling can connect users to their heritage, particularly those who may not think that museums are for them.
Lizzy Bullock will be speaking at the MuseumNext Digital Summit 2024:
Make It Evergreen
Using examples from The National Archives current multi-year project to re-imagine its website, this presentation will look at how we have moved from publishing all of our interpretive content on a legacy WordPress blog and are moving to an evergreen model of content production on our new beta site.
We’ll look at how to define what should be timely, what should be evergreen, the pros and cons of both formats, identifying content priorities and how to bring your authors and stakeholders along with you on the journey to make your content more user-focused and sustainable.
