Filmmaker-turned-immersive artist Lois He co-founded HYZ Studio with Vio Zhu.
HYZ Studio is a new media art studio focused on immersive storytelling, blending XR technology with creative experimentation to craft transformative experiences.
Their artistic practice explores narrative, emotion, and embodied perception across VR, immersive spatial design, and large-scale architectural projection mapping —creating environments that feel alive and responsive. We also collaborate with brands to design
poetic, interactive encounters that invite audiences to sense, and engage in imaginative ways.
Their work has been featured at leading projection and light festivals, including Genius Loci Weimar 2025 and the Video Mapping Festival 2025 in Lille, as well as at SXSW and SIGGRAPH . Clients include LVMH, Cadillac, Coach, the Dalí Museum, and ARTECHOUSE NYC.

Many museum audiences struggle to engage deeply with art—because symbolic meaning often requires prior art history knowledge, and wall labels rarely reveal how symbols recur across an artist’s body of work. The Endless Garden addresses this through immersive co-creation. Visitors answer a few questions inspired by Dalí’s writings, generating a personal dream object that represents a Dalínian symbol and joins a shared digital garden. By forming an emotional connection first, audiences become more curious to explore meaning. The experience achieved a significant “Learn More” click-through rate, indicating strong curiosity and deeper engagement with interpretive content.
