Patricia Buffa is the director of digital strategy at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, where she oversees the Web and Digital Strategy Division.
She leads teams and partnerships to develop engaging digital experiences for art-curious audiences both online and onsite.
From 2015 to 2020 she was the Head of Digital Communications for the newly opened Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, where she focused on building the new brand online, leading their website’s redesign, content strategy, collection digitization, western and Chinese social media and in-gallery interactive experiences.
Previously she has worked at MoMA, New York, and for multiple Italian museums, including MAXXI in Rome and Madre in Naples. She is passionate about digital technologies, art and audience engagement, and has presented her work at international conferences in France, Portugal, Italy, the UK and the US.
