Justine Boulanger is an Digital Educational Content Coordinator at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (MNBAQ). Trained as an art educator and working professionally in cultural mediation, she has nearly 20 years of experience across the arts, municipal, and education sectors.
Through a wide range of projects, she develops innovative approaches to making culture more accessible and meaningful to diverse audiences, including underserved and marginalized communities. Her areas of interest include building relationships with Indigenous communities, exploring the intersection of art and well-being, and fostering philosophical dialogue through art.
She sees cultural mediation as a powerful means of learning, critical reflection, dialogue, and personal development, and is particularly interested in how digital tools can create new ways for people to engage with art and culture.
Justine Boulanger will be speaking at the Digital Learning Summit 2026 :
How can museums reach thousands of learners beyond their physical walls while offering high-quality, accessible, and inclusive experiences?
This presentation explores how digital innovation, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and online educational resources can expand museums’ educational reach and democratize access to art. Through two examples, we will examine how digital tools can enrich learning, support teachers, foster visitor autonomy, and create new entry points to art—whether in the classroom, at home, or in the museum. We will also address challenges related to accessibility, user experience, and AI integration. Participants will leave with practical strategies for creating engaging, inclusive, and human-centered digital learning experiences.
