Amy Maunder-Taylor

Marketing Manager
Natural History Museum

With a decade of experience working in the music industry, Amy’s diverse career in marketing is tied together by culture. She started in the marketing department of Decca Records, UMG, and subsequently built the UK branch of Big Machine Label Group as a team of two. Her passion for music and love of experiences drove her to work with artists including Sheryl Crow, Kacey Musgraves and Gregory Porter, bringing their music to new audiences and achieving several country music #1 albums. Having gone on to study a master’s in International Marketing at King’s College London, she now brings her expertise to the Natural History Museum, approaching culture from a different angle.

Amy Maunder-Taylor will be speaking at the Museums & Social Media Summit 2025 :

Curiosity; the powerplay for driving exhibition interest

The latest blockbuster exhibition from Natural History Museum ‘Space: Could Life Exist Beyond Earth?’ has started with a big bang!
We’ve been shaking up our social advertising agency to get the most out of Meta and TikTok and want to share and show our success with these new strategies. These include: boosting influencer content, generating new styles of video for the Museum, using the Museum’s audience segments rather than traditional interest targeting, utilising CRM data and more.

Using these new methods, we’ve seen results double compared to our AB test with our previous strategy!
