Kulturarvsresan, an immersive storytelling experience by Västernorrlands Museum in Sweden, guides tourists through over 30 sites along the High Coast, each linked to themes like witch trials, pirates, folklore, the Sami people, and coastal life. While traditional marketing methods were used, the primary promotion through Instagram and Facebook reels led to nearly 9,000 users and 60,000 page views. This success underscores the importance of integrating marketing with content creation, and to re-think how experiences relying on mainly digital content should be designed.
