Our marketing campaign for the exhibition of Brazilian modernist artists in Zentrum Paul Klee faced the challenge of introducing unfamiliar names and styles to Switzerland. To overcome this, we linked well-known elements of different cities in the country to Brazilian Modernism, framing the campaign around the concept of “discovery.” The graphic design was bold, festive and straightforward, ensuring visibility across all platforms and reflecting the positive vibes of the exhibition. We targeted diverse audiences where they are, using an intercultural and multilingual approach, while collaborating closely with the local Brazilian community. With help of its multi-layered approach, the campaign faced great successes but logistical hurdles, a long timeline (April to late 2024), and language barriers, adding further challenges.
