Simon co-founded and ran a leading digital agency, growing from 3 founders to an international team of 50 full time staff in London and San Francisco.
FUSE was acquired by Interpublic Group at the end of 2011 and, over the proceeding 4 years, Simon was key to conducting one of the group’s most successful earn-outs to date by integrating into a global PR firm and helping to grow the business by over 300%.
Prior to this, Simon trained and practised as an Architect, developing a design rigour and spatial skillset which have been integral to the formation of his new business – Arcade.
This is a hugely exciting venture into the emerging field of immersive technology, and the perfect vessel for combining Simon’s digital experience and architectural passion.
Child-Led Design in The National Gallery
Step into a hidden world of art and magic at The National Gallery! The Keeper of Paintings and the Palette of Perception is hugely successful mobile-based immersive adventure that encourages children to explore one of the world’s most iconic galleries and learn about some of the greatest artworks ever created. Simon and the team at Arcade created a child-led design process which shaped the project from the beginning, and provided many extraordinary visual and technical conclusions. We will explore this process in detail and hear about the real world application of the children’s ideas, what worked and what didn’t!
