Film: Percy Jackson at The Getty – A Unique Museum Audio Guide

Laura Hubber from J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles shares how they created a unique museum audio guide with an experience based on the Percy Jackson series of books and movies.

By combining the collection and this fictional universe, the museum could reach out to younger audiences who might not normally consider visiting the museum.

This audio experience goes beyond the traditional object-based museum audio guide and showed that sometimes the best way to use museum tech is to add storytelling.

Laura Hubber talked about creating a unique museum audio content at MuseumNext Tech in 2018.
